The story of Eden Hazard at Real Madrid is a bit like a hospital series. The 29-year-old Belgian was injured again last weekend and has been eliminated for at least three weeks.
Hazard was taken to the side after 28 minutes in the lost home game of Real with Alaves (1-2) on Saturday because of a thigh injury. If everything goes according to plan Hazard can make his comeback at the end of December.
It's Hazard's ninth injury since he arrived at Real Madrid in the summer of 2019 and has since missed 36 games of the club. The striker also missed one Real Madrid game at the beginning of November due to a coronavirus infection.
Hazard also suffered a muscle injury in September and October, which kept him away for six games.
