Leicester leaves leading position; West Ham climbs to fifth place

Leicester City has missed an opportunity in England to join frontrunners Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool. At home the number four was surprised by low flyer Fulham: 1-2.

Leicester rarely found holes in the most passed defense of the Premier League. After a failed free kick, the Belgian Youri Tielemans hit the post and Wesley Fofana hit the lat.

The champion of 2016 scored through Harvey Barnes, but that was just minutes before time. Fulham, who missed the Dutch Terence Kongolo and Kenny Tete due to injuries, had already struck his stroke in the quarter hour before half time.

André-Frank Zambo Anguissa found Ademola Lookman after a dribble and that shot hit. Ivan Calveiro then used a penalty, which was given on the advice of the VAR.

West Ham United has risen to fifth place in the Premier League. The London team won 2-1 against Aston Villa and thanks the three points to hits by Angelo Ogbonna, Jarrod Bowen as well as the bar and the VAR.

West Ham made it 1-0 within two minutes, after which Jack Grealish levelled on behalf of Villa. In the second half West Ham started well again by scoring within a minute.

In the end, Villa player Ollie Watkins became the schmuck. A quarter of an hour before time he scored a penalty on the bar, in the injury time the striker thought to save another point for his team. But his hit was disallowed because of millimetres offside.
