English former international and Manchester City icon Colin Bell passed away after a short illness at the age of 74.
The former midfielder played 498 games for Manchester City in a period of thirteen years. With his club, he won the national title, the FA Cup, the League Cup and the European Cup for Cup Winners, among others.
In 48 interlands, including the 1970 World Cup, he found the net nine times.
In 2004, a grandstand in City Stadium was named after the popular player whose name is still regularly used in songs during matches in Manchester.
