No Messi, no victory for Barcelona after a disappointing performance

The home game with Eibar turned out to be a disappointment for FC Barcelona. The formation of trainer Ronald Koeman did not get further than a 1-1 draw against the Spanish low flyer.

This concludes Barça an eventful calendar year in sixth place in the competition. The Catalans are seven points behind frontrunner Atlético Madrid, which has played two games less.
